Learn more about Australia Day Polo Geelong
Australia Day Polo is pleased to welcome back Rhys Stanley and Kirsten Clemens.
Rhys Stanley started his AFL career at St Kilda before heading to Geelong after the 2014 season. With 87 games under his belt, the 26 year old should join the 100 game club during the 2017 season. At 200cm, Rhys is an agile ruck who slots easily into the forward line. A country kid from Beri in South Australia, Rhys loves horses and is excited to get up close to the polo ponies, even taking lessons on how to play!
As a model, Kirsten Clemens has travelled the world for work but loves living in Geelong with her partner, Rhys where she enjoys the region’s beaches and relaxed lifestyle. Like Rhys, Kirsten is also from the country, a small town called Quairading in rural Western Australia. She also can’t wait to learn the ins and outs of polo and is determined to give Rhys a ‘gallop’ for his money on the polo field!
This is an event not to be missed
